Yesterday was a major milestone in the OIT journey for both Sahil and Jaya.

Sahil ate 1/4 of a peanut.  After eating it he complained of a scratchy feeling in his throat, on his tongue and in his right ear.  These symptoms subsided after about five minutes.

Jaya had 5 drops of undiluted milk.  She complained of stinging in her tongue for a few seconds and then she was fine.

They were both incredibly brave.

We will continue with the daily doses at home and hope that the symptoms remain minimal and manageable.
